I’ve been edited Macchina for print! I finished the first three chapters, including redoing all the dialogue (and I mean ALL of it) and the speech bubbles, as well as fixing some minor issues (like the skewing on one page).  I hand bound the first three chapters which were on display at my BFA show and review!

I have gotten a table at Otakon, and am now finishing editing the last two chapters! I’m trying to finish my character sheets so I can have color character sheets in the back of the printed book, which will hopefully be for sale at Otakon! I’m not sure what kind of products I will have, but I’ll definitely be taking commissions!

I’m moving to Washington, DC in three days (almost done packing), and I have also set up a UStream so you can watch me work on the comic pages during the week! As well as other things, like inking and coloring.

Also, I have this undying urge to make a CaramellDansen video for the Macchina characters. IF ONLY I KNEW FLASH.

This is all still tentative because god damn it, the classes I need are full. My advisor sent a plea to the professors to see if they would override me into the class. All signs point to yes, but we actually haven’t had a reply to the email yet. >_>

Still tenantively going to keep the Tuesday/Thursday Macchina updates starting the first week of September, but the days might change once I get used to my schedule (I might decide to be a weekend warrior and update Saturday and Sunday if my schedule during the week turns out to be a nightmare).

I’m going to finish up the commissions I have now and will take my next set on the waiting list in November, when I switch to a winter schedule at the heating oil company and can pick up saturdays instead of trying to cram 12 credits of classes and 40 hours of work into 5 days. >__<

Only 8 more classes left until graduation! Unfortunately the printmaking curriculum I wanted hasn’t even gone through the system, so it won’t be ready by the time I graduate, so I’m stuck with  my original Drawing track. :\

SO ENJOY YOUR UPDATES!! :P The Tuesday and Thursday schedule will be indefinite, as I am trying to take winter and summer semester classes next year so I can graduate in the summer of 09.

But instead of the old Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I’m going to be updating Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday! It’s just much more convenient for me, since it gives me the weekend to pencil and ink the pages for the coming week, and monday to photocopy them at the office. <3

I’m going to continue the MWF update until at least through chapter one. If it proves too difficult with my classload, I’m going to drop updates to Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of the semester.

 No decision on that yet, though, so no worries. <3 I want to see how I get along with the three days a week first.
