update on all fronts!

February 4th, 2009

So.

Life is starting to get really, really busy. I have two art history classes, both of which require 8-12 page research papers. It is my senior semester at college, and all my art for the senior show needs to be done by April 1st. My top priority is to graduate summa cum laude in May, find a job as an artist, and still keep my bills paid even though I’m unemployed, so I need to make some changes!

Macchina:

I still want to keep updating, twice a week, but the days will now be flexible. Tuesday/Friday has been working pretty well for me (and hopefully for you!) but if I have projects I need to get done for the day the update is due, then the update is going to get pushed around, probably just the day after.

Pages 18 and 19 (end of chapter, short, i know XD) is a double page spread. The update date was originally scheduled for Fri 2-27, but since its a rather complex double page, it’ll probably be done closer to saturday or sunday. Just, a warning.

Chapter 5 marks the end of Volume 1 (140 pages). Chapter 6 introduces a whole new set of characters and would be slated to start Tues 3-3. I’m going to be pushing Chapter 6 back until APRIL. Meaning, I’m taking a month off posting. I’ll still be working on pages as I have time, but since it’s the CRUNCH MONTH for submission for the senior show , I made no promises.

Volume 1 (in black and white tones), will be available for purchase at some point soon. Once I finish Chapter 5 I’m sending all the pages to Duckie for editing (spelling, grammar, all those typos…) and getting them ready. No release date yet, but I’m trying to have color character profiles in the back of the book. XD
