Art Show!

For anyone who can attend, you are invited to the Salisbury University 40th Biannual Senior Art Show. I’m on the exhibition committee and the show is pretty darn swank! I’ll be dressed as a business zombie for the closing reception and awards ceremony.

Macchina is still going to be on hold until the end of my semester. I’ve got much work to do- I’ve got another art show on May 1st (deadline for submission April 25th), two art history research papers, and trying to find a job in an economy this awful.

The next update will be in mid- June (I graduate May 22nd and am moving to the DC/Baltimore area shortly thereafter). I am taking this time to rewrite parts of the story and change two characters that have not been introduced yet.

Wish me luck and please do come back in June!

(The above awesome zombie postcard was compiled by the invitation committee, but the original zombie was drawn by my roommate Kelsey Werner, my eternal art rival!)

Wow– I really like “La Macchina Bellica” Deanna– I started reading in the gallery, and then went online to finish up the story so far. All around it’s very solid– I am amazed by the quality of the graphics and designs. Very clever, witty, and they definitely propel the storyline along.
You really have a great sense of the genre– and it’s hard to believe that I’m looking at a student work.
I also like how you just present the characters gay straight lesbian bisexual (transgender, jingleheimer schmidt too) in such a positive non-didactic way– you just have to figure it out as you go along– all part of the fun of figuring out the story and the characters!
I look forward the next installment of La Macchina!! keep me posted
    I’m definitely a fan!
