So, I spend 5 days coloring this double page spread- I’m close to done, and my computer starts to overheat, so I save the file and shut it off for a while.
Come back and my file has an unexpected end of file error and can’t be opened. I tried to recover it, everything, but no dice. My file is completely corrupted and I’ve lost all that work.
Needless to say I’m pretty frustrated and am pretty angry that I’m going to have to spend another 12 hours coloring.. so.. um.. here is the black and white. This page will be colored for the print version of the comic, but I am not doing it right now.

Someone told me I should buy a macbook pro.. well.. hell yes I would… IF I COULD AFFORD ONE. I am so going office space on this dell when I get a new computer…

OMG yes. I know how you feel. It’s hella annoying when the computer destroys your beautiful files. Way back in my comic, my compy got a HORRIBLE new virus that nothing could stop. Had to wipe the whole thing. It was so painful. The entire prologue, most of chapter 1, gone. It was painful, but luckily we still draw and scan the old fashioned way. So we DO have the pages.
It still hurt though.
Good luck! Oh and… I heard from some techy that if you restart your computer, or give it a ten minute break every 4-6 hours of work it’s good for it. I’m sure that’s obvious, but maybe you could employ this tactic until you get a new computer. -^.^- Hope I helped!

Dell makes the worst hardware on the market. I sympathise. I also find Aiden’s grin somewhat unsettling.

Bahh, I think we all know how that feels. Hope all is well soon enough! I’m really liking the lineart for the men and their canons. And.. Aiden’s face. Love it. <3 hope you can update soon.

I feel you there – my tablet causes my software to crash at random intervals, and as I try to save space on my, ahah, vista, I don’t do saving enough. The sad thing isn’t that I lose pictures, it’s that I daren’t use my tablet as much as I could.
And I think you are forgiven for lacking colours. it’s a very pretty page anyways
