you know it occurred to me, the people here never really refer to themselves as ‘elves’ and ‘humans’. I know the Fuerland States or whatever absorbed a former Empire nation, so that means there’s elves there, but there’s no race cards being played.
At least it doesn’t seem that way.
Which, despite the state of war and aggression, is saying something about the quality of the people we’ve seen thus far.

That’s just the people you see now. There is most definitely a lot of prejudice going on towards each other. Some of the crew harass Ethan (the Calanthian doctor) pretty badly, but it just hasn’t shown up yet. XD
And they don’t refer to themselves as elves or humans, they are Calanthians and Feuerlanders respectively.
